ASID Meeting at CCB

Last week CCB teamed up with Spradling International and KB Contract to host an event for the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) Carolinas Triad / High Country Design Chapter. 

The event included a CEU (Continuing Education Unit) entitled “A Fresh Look at Coated Fabrics by Spradling International Inc.” 

We were very excited to have the opportunity to meet some of the local ASID chapter members thus giving us an opportunity to take them on a tour through CCB’s showroom and to have time to discuss CCB’s role in their upcoming projects.

Friendly Toast- A Place w/ Whimsey

The Friendly Toast is a breakfast restaurant and bar with a definite sense of whimsy.  CCB recently produced seating and tables for their Boston, MA location.

The products for this project had a retro appeal.  CCB’s “Oldies” Series was used as singles and doubles as well as bar height seating.

CCB’s “Standard” Series was used as a wall bench with a vertical channel uph detail added.

The table tops produced didn’t get forgotten when tapping into the retro and vintage diner feel.  Patterned laminates were paired with a fluted aluminum edge.

A Modern Take on Restaurant Booths

It seems like restaurant booths have been around forever. Some may imagine them as being in old fashioned burger and pizza joints or any other laid back environment. But the truth is  booths are the most comfortable and practical seating option for your customer no matter what the application is. Booths are long lasting and involve very little upkeep.

Booth seating can be used anywhere and everywhere and still look sophisticated. You can customize the booth to tailor to your business’s atmosphere. There are endless options when it comes to customization. You can choose fabric colors, textures, and wood finishes. You may choose a long wall bench for a waiting area, as well as half circle booths for private dining. All of these apply to different applications aside from the restaurant industry. As long as you have a need for seating in your building, booths will be your best bet! People enjoy comfortable seating.
