CCB’s Appalachian Series from Modern to Classic Traditional

In recent weeks we featured a project based on CCB‘s “Appalachian” series used in a recreation area at an Apartment Community w/ a plain uph inside back and produced as a long wall bench. (See image of the West River Apartments below.)

So this week we thought we would illustrate how you can take a CCB style and create multiple looks. From the sleek modern look at West River Apartments to a classic traditional style at Angelina’s Pizza, Pasta, & More located in Odenton, MD.

CCB’s Appalachian was produced in single and double booths and with the addition of a “double diamond” tufted ISB uph detail. (Double diamond is the use of 2 complete rows of stacked diamonds. Typical diamond tufting will have the diamonds offset and not complete diamonds stacked above each other.)

This week we are featuring seating, table tops, and table bases produced for Homewood Suites located in Worthington (Columbus,) Ohio.

Seating:

Banquette style seating constructed with a laminate and wood divider
Custom low back heights
Custom depths- overall and seating
Plain uph ISB’s w/ loose bolster pillows
Uph sinuous spring seats
Wood frame and legs with an enclosed wood base (custom stain color)
Uph frame and Black ABS base on the other side
Cut outs provided in the laminate and wood divider for electrical or data access (added and wired by others once on site)

Table Tops (Wood in 2 CCB Styles):

Multi- Species wood tops 1.75″ thickness in CCB Vintage stain with heavy “Farmhouse” distressing (round table tops)

Random Plank Ash wood tops 1.25″ thickness in CCB Black stain
(rectangular tops used with CCB’s Wood Column Bases)

Table Bases:

CCB’s Wood Column Base WCB-004, a turned wood column in a bamboo detail (A CCB exclusive) in CCB Black stain paired with a black metal disk base and spider for attachment.

This week we are featuring seating produced for Hotel Indigo located in Beachwood, OH.

Two styles of seating:

The seating utilized for this project creates 2 unique seating areas in 1 space w/ an area for “community style seating” at the wall bench and more private seating in the corner alcoves.

Tribute at the Glen- More Resort than Senior Living

Two of CCB’s banquette seating styles along with some custom counter stools have been utilized at Tribute at the Glen– Assisted Living & Memory Care located in Woodbridge, VA.

We think the final results of this project are quite impressive and look more “Resort than Senior Living!”

CCB’s “Designer Special“ series – modified with varying overall heights and depths and with uph end panels added were used in 4 different locations as long wall benches.

CCB’s “Charlotte” series- modified to create a tall radiused banquette.

CCB also provided some custom counter stools for this project- uph w/ arms, a cutout in the ISB, and wood tapered legs and stretchers.

This week we are featuring a custom banquette produced for River Landing Retirement Community in Colfax, NC.

CCB’s “Designer Special” series was “given a boost” with some custom shaped uph arms to provide assistance to residents when sitting and standing. A custom filler was added to the end of the banquette to align the adjacent walls and maximize the seating area available.

Who could resist a getaway like this?

The Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club located in Kent Island, Maryland features overnight accommodations, places to dine, meeting spaces, a spa, and multiple venue choices for hosting a wedding.

This week we are featuring how CCB‘s seating has been utilized in spaces. Photos included are just a small sampling of all of the product produced for this project.

The Blu Halo- A project that comes full circle

This week we are featuring product based on custom radius shaping at

The Blue Halo Restaurant & Bar in Tallahassee, Florida.

Halo: (noun)

a crown of light, a circle of light around the sun or moon caused by tiny crystals in the air.

CCB’s “Designer Special” was utilized to create custom radiused shaped seating for long wall banquettes w/ and w/ out backs.

Backless wall benches were constructed at bar height and metal foot rails were installed once the product was on site by others.

Seating was also utilized in singles and a 3/4 round booth.

A custom stain color completes this look on wood bases (backless wall bench) and the corner fillers (3/4 round.)

Add in the design elements of this project: hanging crystals, blue and other accent lighting, along with the upholstery specs and you can see the complete evolution of this design concept which is quite striking!

CCB’s Seating- Historic St. Charles

CCB’s “Shop Special” Series seating has been given a home in Historic St. Charles, Illinois at Abby’s Breakfast & Lunch.

Abby’s is known for its breakfast and lunch menu that is complimented with an offering of cocktails, craft beer, and bloody marys.

CCB’s “Shop Special“ was modified to produce single and double booths as well as a long wall bench.

Hurricane Matthew – Product Available from CCB!

During this holiday season we tend to reflect about how fortunate we are and at CCB we would like to take this opportunity to recognize those who were impacted by Hurricane Matthew and it’s after affects.

Hurricane Matthew was the first category 5 Atlantic hurricane since 2007 which caused high winds and flooding that lead to fatalities and destruction of property in Cuba, Haiti, The Dominican Republic,The Bahamas as well as to numerous areas in the US (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.)

CCB is offering a Special Rebate Program to our customer’s and dealers to pass on to their end users that are in the process of re-building due to the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.
