Beacon 70- “Only 1 Stop” needed for Product at CCB!

It is exciting to be able to share a project that utilizes so many different styles and options of CCB product.

This week we are featuring Beacon 70, a restaurant and bar with a reclaimed and steampunk vibe located in Brick Township, NJ.

This project features booths and banquettes at dining, counter, and bar height (some with legs/ stretchers and some with enclosed bases.)  Diamond tufting, wood trim, nailhead, and  upholstered rollover tops are just a few of the design details.  Backless waiting benches and an upholstered “top hat” were also produced to provide additional seating opportunities for patrons.

But don’t forget the tables!  CCB’s “Olde Barn” Collection was utilized.  These table tops are constructed out of random width and varying thickness of solid Poplar wood planks including natural saw and planer marking to result in slightly uneven surfaces to create the illusion of product produced out of “reclaimed” materials such as aged wood pallets or rough barn siding,  (Standard in “Olde Barn” distressing. Recommended in CCB Vintage Stain.)

Thank you to Raymond Haldeman Designs for the opportunity to be a part of this project and show you the range of products that CCB can provide.

Let us know how we can be a part of your next design.

Don’t let the names mislead you! – CCB’s Durham & Farmhouse

We have designed our standard product line to be versatile and to work with a multitude of interior styles. Sometimes it is just a matter of the finishes specified that can totally change the look.

Take for example CCB’s “Durham” Series seating style that was given a coastal location at The Pier Restaurant at Solomons Pier in Solomon, MD.

The Durham was modified with an upholstered seat and finished in CCB’s Natural stain.  See below where we also show examples of this same booth style for comparison- CCB’s “Durham” Series standard and 2 modified versions- one used for a Country Club and one for an Italian Restaurant.  How’s that for diversity in look and style?

Now let’s talk tables…… CCB’s “Farmhouse” Tables were also used for this coastal project in dining and bar height.  How’s that for an unexpected combination?

Thank you to TriMark Adams Burch for the opportunity to be a part of this project.

There’s really no limit to our styles and how they are used!

CCB is Hotel seating & more!

CCB’s seating is more than just your typical “restaurant booth.”  The application of our products is only limited by you imagination.

We have had the opportunity to work on more and more hotel projects for example the Baymont by Wyndham located in Charlotte, NC.

A long wall banquette can provide a more upscale appeal to a breakfast or dining space.  Add height, upholstered arms, and a custom stained base and you have created seating that provides a framework around the perimeter of the room.

CCB’s  seating can also be used in a Lobby.  A long double sided booth was produced for this project with electrical & USB outlets available to those waiting.  How’s that for maximizing seating in an area and it being even more functional too?

Thank you to Contract Procurement Solutions and our CCB Sales Representative, Quinton Macon for the opportunity to be a part of this project.

See the link below with examples and options to integrate electrical and USB options in to your projects.

Craftsmanship & Artistry – Canon & Draw Brewing Co.

We love to share projects where the end user has the same philosophy as CCB.

Canon & Draw Brewing Co. located in Richmond, VA in the historic fan district prides itself on the “craftsmanship and artistry” of their beers. They have created an environment for their customers to pause and savor life.
At CCB, we pride ourselves in crafting our handmade products in the USA for the enjoyment and longevity of use by others.  We have our own building blocks and just like the basis of craft beers that we use to re-invent and create product for each new project.
For this project the CCB “Shop Special” was the basis with a few custom options to create this look.
 CCB’s “Shop Special” series- modified
  • Wood Top Caps & End Panels- added
  • Diamond Tufted ISB (inside back) – added
  • Wood OSB (outside back) – added
  • Uph 1 Piece “Big Seat”
“U” Shaped Booths were ganged together with shared top caps and end panels to create a unified look for all 3 of the banquettes.
Thank you to Campfire & Co. and our CCB Sales Representative, Jim Hoffman for the opportunity to be a part of this project.

Banquette Seating inspired by Chesterfield – SW Clyborne

The Chesterfield sofa is quite an icon of the furniture design world. The story goes that the origin may date back to the 1700’s to Lord Phillip Stanhope, the fourth Earl of Chesterfield. The Earl wished to have a piece of furniture to sit up very straight, in the upmost comfort, and not crease ones garments as they sat. With those concepts in mind, he commissioned a local crafts person and the furniture style and name was born.

CCB produced a custom banquette inspired by a “Chesterfield” sofa for
SW Clyborne Co. located in Mason, OH including all of the classic details: wide roll over back and arms, diamond tufting, loose seat cushions, and wooden legs. Bolsters were specified to create dividers in the seating areas.

Other areas of the restaurant included bar height and dining height banquettes based on CCB’s “Designer Special” series modified with vertical channel uph and was produced in long wall benches, “U” shaped, and 3/4 rounds.

How’s that for being inspired by furniture history?

Thank you to C & T Design & Equipment and to our CCB Sales Representative, Warren Dorn for the opportunity to be a part of this project.

Seating that we think will “Strike a Chord” at Arpeggio’s

Just likes the musical notes of a chord played in succession, we take the building blocks and components of our seating styles and produce with repetition or can create alternate versions.

  • Varying back heights
  • Crumb detail- omitted
  • Stained wood base added
  • Custom stain color
CCB’s banquettes were utilized in a waiting area, by a fireplace as well as in the main dining area.
Thank you to DAS Interiors and to Peyton Brown for the opportunity to be a part of this project.
