The Blu Halo- A project that comes full circle

This week we are featuring product based on custom radius shaping at 

The Blue Halo Restaurant & Bar in Tallahassee, Florida.

Halo: (noun)

a crown of light, a circle of light around the sun or moon caused by tiny crystals in the air.

CCB’s “Designer Special” was utilized to create custom radiused shaped seating for long wall banquettes w/ and w/ out backs.

Backless wall benches were constructed at bar height and metal foot rails were installed once the product was on site by others.

Seating was also utilized in singles and a 3/4 round booth.

A custom stain color completes this look on wood bases (backless wall bench) and the corner fillers (3/4 round.)

Add in the design elements of this project:  hanging crystals, blue and other accent lighting, along with the upholstery specs and you can see the complete evolution of this design concept which is quite striking!

CCB’s Seating- Historic St. Charles

CCB’s “Shop Special” Series seating has been given a home in Historic St. Charles, Illinois at Abby’s Breakfast & Lunch.

Abby’s is known for its breakfast and lunch menu that is complimented with an offering of cocktails, craft beer, and bloody marys.

CCB’s “Shop Special“ was modified to produce single and double booths as well as a long wall bench.

  • A wood top cap & straight end panel were added
  • ISB uph detail from CCB’s “Raleigh” series (stitching and large uph button)
  • Contrasting uph on button detail
  • Uph seat and frame w/ Black ABS base
  • Wood Stain- CCB Black

CCB’s WB-002 Waiting Benches were also utilized at the entry.

CCB’s “Farmhouse” Seating- NEW

Rustic and Reclaimed looks takes “Center Stage” again in 2017!

Our customer’s cannot seem to get enough of this look, therefore CCB is expanding on our “Farmhouse” table tops by adding “Farmhouse” booths to be combined and known as our “Farmhouse Collection”.

Table Tops (Existing Product:)

  • Multi-Species  (Solid Ash, Cherry, Poplar, & Maple) 
  • Random Plank in 1.75″ thickness 
  • CCB’s “Farmhouse” heavy distressing techniques
  • Available in CCB Vintage (left below) or CCB Clear (right below) finish.

  • 42″ Overall Height

  • Wood Species:  Solid Ash & Solid Poplar

  • CCB “Farmhouse” distressing on ISB, OSB, and frame (Heavy level of exaggerated denting, rasping of top and edges, distressing, chiseling, and pitting)

  • Ash & Poplar top caps, end panels, and frame below seat

  • OSB & ISB stacked wood planks of Ash & Poplar of varying widths and thickness

  • Removable foam padded sinuous spring seat

  • Black ABS base standard

  • Shown in CCB “Vintage” stain (recommended)

Please note that the booths are intended as being a complimentary “Farmhouse” look and not an exact match to the the table tops.

As we embark into this new year, we realize how fortunate we are and at CCB we would like to take this opportunity to recognize those who were impacted by the recent fires in Tennessee.

Wasting Away – Margaritaville

Recently we featured an elegant wine venue.  This week we shift to a casual atmosphere to show you how diverse CCB’s product line really can be.

Doesn’t it make sense to feature the Margaritaville Resort in Biloxi, MS?  It is that time of the year to celebrate……

CCB‘s “Stateville” Series was used as the basis for this seating style with some modifications to create this relaxed “t-shirt and flip flops with no worries” look.

  • Narrow uph channel on the perimeter of the ISB
  • Finished wood OSB
  • Uph seat and frame offset
  • Stained enclosed base
  • Custom stain color

Hurricane Matthew – Product Available from CCB!

During this holiday season we tend to reflect about how fortunate we are and at CCB we would like to take this opportunity to recognize those who were impacted by Hurricane Matthew and it’s after affects.

Hurricane Matthew was the first category 5 Atlantic hurricane since 2007 which caused high winds and flooding that lead to fatalities and destruction of property in Cuba, Haiti, The Dominican Republic,The Bahamas as well as to numerous areas in the US (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.)

CCB is offering a Special Rebate Program to our customer’s and dealers to pass on to their end users that are in the process of re-building due to the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.

Wine Loft of Naples- Wish we were there!

Wine is a chosen for a wide variety of occasions, whether provided as an appetite stimulant prior to dining, to accompany a meal, for socializing with friends and family, or for celebrating an event.

There is no question that the Wine Loft of Naples has captured the elegance and sophistication of wine drinking in Florida.

CCB’s “Designer Special” series was modified to produce seating for this project.

  • 1/2 rounds with radiused seats & ISB’s 
  • Uph corner fillers
  • Shared uph end panels- added
  • Diamond tufted ISB detail
  • Uph 1 piece “Big Seat”
  • Enclosed base w/ black ABS applied

CCB’s tables were also utilized – Random Plank Ash Wood Tops 1.25″ thickness stained in CCB Walnut finish which were paired with decorative metal bases.

A History Lesson with CCB- The Swamp Fox

CCB’s seating is being used in Charleston’s Historic Francis Marion Hotel, which was built in 1924 which features a restaurant and bar named Swamp Fox.

The hotel was named after General Francis Marion who was called the “Swamp Fox” of the American Revolution.  The General was know as a commissioned officer and for leading fighters in the low-country swamps of South Carolina.

CCB’s “Raleigh” Series was used as the basis for a long banquette in the restaurant and bar area of the hotel.

This seating style features a ISB with wide channeled sections with “X” stitching and a large uph “push button,” a roll over top detail, a shaped uph end panel, a large 1 piece “big seat”, and wooden legs.

Award Winning at Doe’s Eat Place

CCB’s product has been given a place at an award winning steakhouse located at The Margaritaville Resort in Biloxi, MS.

“Doe’s Eat Place” has been recognized by Bon Appetit and Men’s Journal Magazines as well as The Travel Channel for it’s first-class porterhouse steaks served in a comfortable and casual dining environment.

CCB’s “Designer Special” Series was modified with custom back heights and the addition of an upholstered headroll at the top of the long wall banquette.  All to be a grand scale.
