Winston Series

In several recent projects CCB’s “Winston” Series has been a main player.

This series was used at both Aurelio’s Pizza in Chicago, IL and at Slyman’s Tavern in Cleveland & Independence, OH.

The “Winston” series design detail was used in both projects. Wood top cap & end panels, framed wood ISB with upholstered panels, decorative nail head trim, and upholstered seat.

These pieces were designed as dining height seating at Aurelio’s Pizza & as bar height seating at Slyman’s Tavern.

The appearance can change depending on many factors regarding the details of the piece. With a length that works, single or multiple uph back panels can be used. There is also an option to have the seating unit produced with or with out the nail head trim.

Next time you are in Aurelio’s Pizza or Slyman’s Tavern be sure to think of CCB. We would like to Thank TriMark Marlinn and CCB’s Sales Representative, Paul Johnopolos for the opportunity to be part of the Slyman’s Tavern Project.

Let us know how we can assist you with your next project.

Hampton Inn. – Belmont

Part of the Charlotte, NC region is Belmont. This area’s settlement dates back to the 1750’s as a colonial fort. The quaint downtown and Abbey College leads to architecturally full history that is Belmont. If you want the “small town quality of life” this is the place to be.

The custom seating produced for the Hampton Inn. were made to suit the specific area. Banquettes were produced with an arched shaped back, shaped arms & tapered wooden legs; which appears to relate to the local architecture with a modern twist.

We would like to Thank Hospitality Furnishings & Design, Inc. & our CCB Sales Representatives, Jay Dickinson and Warren Dorn for the opportunity to be a part of this project.

CCB is ready to help you with all your seating needs.

Westwood Bistro & 9Fifty Whisky

Westwood Bistro & 9fifty Whiskey is this weeks feature highlighting the seating produced. Westwood Bistro is located in Lake Forest, IL.

In this project, CCB’s Shop Special was modified to suit the Bistros custom needs. Wood top caps and end panels were used as well as a custom color stain and a vertical ISB detail. A trend of using upholstery materials with an aged leather look continues but with better durability and a lower cost than actual leather.

Seeing as (aged) whisky is a main topic at Westwood Bistro, no other style of seating could be more complimentary to the restaurant and bar.

We would like to say Thank you to Henry’s Contract Furniture and our CCB Sales Representative, Paul Johnopolos for the exciting opportunity to be part of this project. As always, we hope this weeks feature can help to inspire you for your next seating project.

Ava Somerville

We will be featuring seating produced for Ava Somerville located in Somerville, MA. Ava is a residential complex and have chosen to use bold colors and print combinations to create an individual statement.

Ava is an urban residential community that is full of personality and amenities. CCB’s custom seating has been incorporated throughout the common areas.

You will notice the use of modular style eating and the use of playful colors and patterns. A unique settee makes a bold statement with it’s shaping and a radius banquette with a tufted ISB and height changing back.

We hope that this project will give you a few ideas for your next seating project.

Black Point- Seafood, Steakhouse, & Sushi Restaurant

This week we are looking at Black Point – Seafood, Steakhouse, & Sushi Restaurant, which is located in Columbus, OH. This project uses 4 distinct seating styles that are different in function and form.

You will notice this project includes CCB’s Designer Special Series with a diamond tufted ISB detail. Also included are 3 types of custom shaped upholstered arm/end panels that create dividers between dining guests.

Notice the seating shapes as well, creating linear, 90-degree angles and radius configurations. The different types of enclosed bases verses the use of wooden legs also helps to make each piece stand out on it’s own.

We would like to thank Design Collaborative as well as our CCB Sales Representatives, Jay Dickinson and Warren Dorn for the opportunity to be a part of this project.

CCB hopes that this feature will inspire you and let us know if we can assist you in seating styles for your next project.

Booth of The Week – All Sewn Up!

This week we are featuring the seating produced for a Hampton Inn location in Williamston, North Carolina.

CCB’s Designer Special Series gets a fabric seaming detail on the inside back that provides a custom look and the opportunity to mix and match upholstery materials.  The striped fabric was patterned and sewn together in between solid panels of fabric to create this striking detail.

We thought we would share another way to get creative with seating. The possibilities are endless with seaming and stitching details!

Estiatorio Milos is our “Booth of The Week”

This “Booth of The Week” project was completed for a Greek inspired restaurant in Miami, FL called Estiatorio Milos. It is a elegant restaurant that echoes a Greek taverna with subtle modern touches. The sleek banquettes designed for this project go hand in hand with the core of this restaurant. This project (as shown below) was featured in the November 2012 edition of the “Hospitality Design” magazine. Thanks to all the hard work of Jeffrey Beers International and CCB sales rep Peyton Brown this project turned out to be one for the books.
