Mad about Plaid

With winter temperatures setting in we thought this project spoke to the season.  Seating and tables were produced for Pine Mountain Grill & Gifts in Whitesburg, KY.

CCB‘s “Metropolitan” series was used for the seating with varying back heights and with wood legs added.  We are in love and “mad with plaid” upholstery that was selected for the single and double booths as well as a long wall banquette.

CCB‘s Random Plank Solid Ash Wood Table Tops in a 1.75″ thickness were also produced for this project in standard shaped tops and for tables with hinged drop leafs.  All CCB table tops were finished in CCB Natural which created a striking contrast with the CCB Black finish applied to the seating legs.

“L” is for L Shaped and a Long Banquette

CCB’s “Designer Special” series goes “L” shaped and the “length” of the lobby and breakfast area of Best Western Plus in Winston-Salem, NC.

  • Plain uph ISB (inside back)
  • OSB (outside back) uph in vinyl
  • Roll over top & wrapped end detail
  • 1 piece uph “big” seat
  • Enclosed base- black ABS

The clean and simple lines of this banquette can be used in virtually any style of space- modern, transitional, and even traditional.  The uph selections on this project are quite striking!

Seating – Living, Common Areas, & Dining at The Phoenix

At CCB “We are More than Just Restaurant Booths.”

Take a look at seating produced for 3 areas of The Phoenix Senior Living Community located in Delray Beach, FL.

A large “L” shaped sectional piece was constructed with track arms, tight uph back and seat, & with low square wood legs. This piece allows for maximized seating in a living room area for TV viewing or for residents to visit.

A large accent seating piece (A CCB “Top Hat” – modified) was produced to be used in a common area. This piece allows for seating all the way around. It was constructed to have a wood filler scribe-ed to a column by others once on site and to have “arms” to divide the unit into sections.

CCB’s “Designer Special“- modified was used as the basis for a long wall banquette in a dining area. Wood legs and a recessed wood base were added.

CCB’s product can cover multiple facets of your project- Homewood Suites

This week we are featuring seating, table tops, and table bases produced for Homewood Suites located in Worthington (Columbus,) Ohio.

Seating:

  • Banquette style seating constructed with a laminate and wood divider
  • Custom low back heights
  • Custom depths- overall and seating
  • Plain uph ISB’s w/ loose bolster pillows
  • Uph sinuous spring seats
  • Wood frame and legs with an enclosed wood base (custom stain color)
  • Uph frame and Black ABS base on the other side
  • Cut outs provided in the laminate and wood divider for electrical or data access (added and wired by others once on site)

Table Tops (Wood in 2 CCB Styles):

Multi- Species wood tops 1.75″ thickness in CCB Vintage stain with heavy “Farmhouse” distressing (round table tops)

Random Plank Ash wood tops 1.25″ thickness in CCB Black stain
(rectangular tops used with CCB’s Wood Column Bases)

Table Bases:

CCB’s Wood Column Base WCB-004, a turned wood column in a bamboo detail (A CCB exclusive) in CCB Black stain paired with a black metal disk base and spider for attachment.

West River Apartments- Why Live Ordinary?

CCB’s product is “more than just restaurant booths”  or for use in more than just restaurant style dining applications.

Take for example, West River Apartments located in Philadelphia, PA‘s “Wynnfield Heights” area.

CCB‘s “Appalachian” Series seating was produced for a resident recreation room which created an area to work on a laptop, catch up with friends, or a place to relax after working out in the adjacent space.

CCB has gone “Global” this year.  We recently produced and shipped seating to a project in Japan.

The seating style for Defense Distribution is the CCB “Winston” Series.

  • Wood ISB w/ recessed uph panels and nail head trim detail

  • Wood top cap, end panels, and frame below the seat
  • Uph sinuous spring seat
  • Tapered wood leg

CCB goes to the Office- Genscape

Genscape located in Louisville, KY provides data and analysis for global commodity & energy markets.

So it is quite fitting that an orange toned upholstery was selected for this office project.

The hues of orange located on the color wheel between red (a color of energy) and yellow (a color of happiness) are believed to have these characteristics:

  • Increases oxygen supply to the brain
  • Stimulates mental activity & productivity
  • Encourages communication
  • Aids in decision making
  • Promotes confidence & understanding
  • Associated with health and well being
  • More neutral oranges have a feeling of being more grounded & “earthy”

CCB’s “Designer Special” was modified to create this office seating:

  • Produced in 2 different seating heights (18″H and Counter Height)
  • ISB with vertical channel uph detail
  • Uph Seat w/ nail head trim
  • Low tapered wood legs
  • CCB Walnut stain

Staying “Plugged In”- Ascend Solstice

Based on the constant desire to stay in touch and communicate with others for work or play, we see more and more projects that include seating with cut outs to allow for electrical outlets for using electronic devices.

The project featured this week Ascend Solstice located in Erie, PA is a perfect example of this trend in hospitality seating.

CCB’s “Designer Special”- modified

  • “L” shaped seating configuration
  • Custom height & overall depth
  • ISB with deep sewn biscuit tufting
  • Custom wood end units with cut outs (to allow for electrical access by others)
  • Custom stain color
  • 1 piece “Big Seat”
  • Enclosed base
