A Blend of Seating Styles at The Knight Cap

The Knight Cap Restaurant is located in Lansing, Michigan and is the  project featured this week with CCB’s seating.

A mix of styles and features from CCB’s “Designer Special” and 
CCB’s “Monroe” series were blended together to create this
sophisticated look.

* Custom Height

* Addition of an uph end panel

* ISB with biscuit tufting and welt detail

* 1 piece uph “Big Seat”

* Enclosed base

“Wood” you like to customize?

Do you like the look of all wood banquette seating but really would like something to encourage guests to stay and order a few more items? (Maybe add an upholstery component?)

Product produced for Angelo’s Italian located in Midlothian, VA illustrates an example of taking CCB’s “Durham” Series (standard with a wood seat) and adding an upholstered foam seat.

This project was also produced with 2 different back heights and with contrasting stain colors (CCB Mahogany & CCB Oak.) 

We can take most of the CCB wood seating styles and add an upholstered element like a foam or spring uph seat, a foam back pad, etc. 

Table tops for this project were produced with CCB’s Premium Top Coat which is a polyester with a “poured look” and a glossy sheen .  CCB’s standard table top finish is a satin.  See examples below.

Just Around the Corner at Hutch & Harris

The project featured this week is “Just Around the Corner” from CCB in Winston Salem, NC at Hutch & Harris.

Who says all waiting benches have to be  “on the straight and narrow?”

Two of CCB’s Waiting Bench styles the WB-005 & WB-007 were both produced as “L” shaped units to maximize seating in and around the corner.

One of the features of CCB’s WB-007 is that it is a lower and deeper lounge style seating.

Seating Highs & Lows

This week we are featuring seating produced for Hilton Garden Crabtree located in Raleigh, NC.

This project features 2 different seating heights:

“L” Shaped Banquette-  Counter Height Seating

     * Uph top cap & end panels

     * ISB with uph head roll at the top

     * 1 piece “Big Seat”

     * Wood stretchers and tapered legs

Custom shaped wall bench-  Dining Height

     * CCB’s “Standard” Series with crumb rail- modified

     * ISB with biscuit tufting added

CCB also produces various seating styles in Bar Height as well.

Hampton Inn & Suites

This week we are featuring modern styled seating produced for Hampton Inn & Suites located in Fort Mills, SC.

Wall Benches:

  • Custom Height & Custom Depth
  • Uph ISB with large upholstered “push Buttons”
  • Custom uph end panels
  • 1 Piece “Big Seat”
  • Metal Legs with recessed ABS base

Did you know?

Wall benches are typically used against a perimeter wall, but they also can be used freestanding in a space to create a partition or divider between areas.

Wall benches allow for seating flexibility. Larger and smaller groups can be accommodated by shifting tables together and apart.

Upholstered banquette seating breaks up the monotony of tables and chairs and creates an ideal location to feature color and pattern providing a focal point in hospitality environments.

Banquettes of all shapes and sizes are being utilized in more and more projects beyond restaurants (hotels, building lobbies, banks, retail stores, medical facilities and doctor’s waiting rooms, athletics stadiums, residential kitchens, home theaters, game rooms, etc.)

Black Point- Seafood, Steakhouse, & Sushi Restaurant

This week we are looking at Black Point – Seafood, Steakhouse, & Sushi Restaurant, which is located in Columbus, OH. This project uses 4 distinct seating styles that are different in function and form.

 

You will notice this project includes CCB’s Designer Special Series with a diamond tufted ISB detail. Also included are 3 types of custom shaped upholstered arm/end panels that create dividers between dining guests.

 

Notice the seating shapes as well, creating linear, 90-degree angles and radius configurations. The different types of enclosed bases verses the use of wooden legs also helps to make each piece stand out on it’s own.

Carolina Custom Booth manufactures custom booths and now has table tops available all for your restaurant needs. To start off our web blog we are going to share a secret construction recipe with you.

Frame Construction
CCB booths are built to endure the stresses of the busiest restaurants. Constructed of 7/8 inch poplar hardwood with every joint glued and stapled for long lasting structural integrity. 

Cushions and Fabrics
Extra thick high density foam cushions are upholstered with fabrics and vinyl’s from a large selection of styles and colors in grades to match any service requirement. C.O.M. material may be specified as well.

 

Custom Designs and Specifications
The booth designs shown in this catalog represent the upholstered collection and are shown in the standard style for each model. Optional back designs are shown with most booths. Standard sizes are shown on the drawings and charts, however, any design can be constructed to your special dimensions. Wood trim can also be added to these designs to match your décor. And, look for a new exposed wood collection to be added in the future.
